Emergency Child Care and CPR/AED Level B

This course meets all provincial and territorial child care legislative requirements, where applicable. The course is specifically adapted for child care.

Completion Requirements

• Completion of 9 hours in-person training
• Completion of practical examination
• 100% participation
  
• 75% on written examination

• Chapter 13: Poisons (Carbon Monoxide Poisoning, Insect Stings, Animal Bites)
• Chapter 14: Childhood Illnesses

Upon Completion

• An electronic Canadian Red Cross Emergency Child Care First Aid and CPR/AED level B certification will be issued that’s valid for 3 years (issued within 2 days after completion)
